Rodeo Queen 2023

​Welcome to the 68th annual Piatt County Trail Blazers Rodeo. My name is Riley Brandenburg and I am honored to be your 2023 Miss Trail Blazers Rodeo Queen. I am 20 years old and from Cerro Gordo, Illinois. I recently graduated from Illinois College with my Bachelor’s degree in Political Science and Pre-Law. I was a collegiate volleyball player during my time there as well. In August, I will be attending law school to become an agricultural lawyer specializing in equine law. I fell in love with horses when I was 8 years old and have been barrel racing ever since. Currently, I own three horses, Halo, Velvet, and Fame. As a little girl, I always looked up to the women of the rodeo, and becoming this year’s rodeo queen was a dream come true! I want to wish every contestant competing in the rodeo good luck and encourage everyone to never stop chasing their dreams!
